Custom Pet Portraits, 5x7 to 11x14, oil painting of your pet
Custom Pet Portraits done from your photos. Painting animals has always been my favorite subjects. The picture shown is of my Black Labrador Retriever and is an example of one of the custom pet portraits that I have done. I have painted just about all breeds of dogs along with several cats, horses, birds and many other kinds of pets. My dog is part of the family and I am sure yours is to, each has their own personality and I try to reflect that in my painting.
This listing is for a portrait of any animal in sizes 5x7" up to 11x14" done in oils. The portrait will be done from pictures that you supply. I can either paint it on stretched canvas or on art board which ever you prefer, the lab was done on art board. I have also painted the picture on canvas and sewn it onto the cover of a pillow, using leather or suede for the cover. This makes a unique way to show off your pet, size of portrait for a pillow is usually 7x8 or 8x10 and the cost of the pillow will run around $125.00.
If you want a personalized gift for someone special for Christmas and they have a pet this would be a unique Christmas gift for sure.
Custom portraits in oil will usually take 2 to 3 weeks to complete and to allow for drying time.
